Field work removes everything a venue gives you. No schedule that holds, no reliable power, no control over light, and travel between sites measured in hours. The working assumption was that each location would differ from the brief and the day would be shorter than planned.

So we shot for a set rather than for single frames. Each story needed the same components — the person, the process, the place, and the detail that explains what the innovation actually is — so any one project could later be published on its own without going back for a missing element. Sharing locations with a separate video team meant sequencing rather than competing. Consent was asked on each site, not assumed from a programme-level agreement.
